Lili Vieira de Carvalho, is a lucky Brazilian. In 2006 she met her partner, Ken Eisner, film critic from Vancouver, Canada through nerve.com. In 2008, after a lot of back and forth between the two countries she finally immigrated to British Columbia. It was the end of the 15-hour flights and the many hours on Skype and the beginning of an adventurous time.

Lili’s 20+ years of experience in the vibrant and cosmopolitan art market in Brazil took her at first to a period as Art Researcher at Adbusters magazine. Lili was Associate Director at Diane Farris Gallery from 2008 to 2011, where she curated the first show in Canada to combine Art and Social Media. Most recently, she became a proud SuperHost at Airbnb.  With over 200 movies watched every year, Lili collaborates with the Brazilian program of the Vancouver Latin American Film Festival and also helps program Projecting Change Film Festival.
